[ She bends down so that he can actually reach her arm right now. ]

When Raijuu gets back, I'd like for both of our units to get together again and have a big dinner to celebrate. I'd like to cook him his favorite foods--and I want to give him the gifts I've been saving for him--and when it's over, I want to take a long walk with him in the park before we go back home for the night.

[ the last part might sound a tiny bit saucy without context--but she honestly just means she wants to keep him close to make sure he won't disappear again. ]

I hope so. I need to practice a lot more first, though. --I'd been meaning to ask... I know it's been a long time since we last talked about it, but I'd still like to cook with you again. Is there any time of day you're typically free?

Lunch time, probably? I sleep in sometimes, but I usually do my test baking in the middle of the day.

In that case, if it's all right to join you in the afternoons, I'd like to. I can bring ingredients and recipes, if it helps at all.

Sure. I've mostly been focused on baking, so it'd be good to do some cooking again.

Yeah. The science of it is nice.

Mmm... no, science is simpler than that. Science is more like... studying the rules of the world around you through different methods? Like experiments.
